Sadama turg

Welcome to Sadamaturg. This is the home of good food.

Sadamaturg
C-terminal of the Port of Tallinn
Open: Mon–Sun 8–19
It does not have its own diner right now, but most of the good food can be tasted before making the decision to buy. And tasting is necessary, because there is quite a bit that is new and surprising here.
For example, sauerkraut with chilli and beet. Prepared at Uus-Kongo Farm. This farm is the synonym of good sauerkraut. In summer, however, it offers the freshest green salad.
“The cheeses are fair,” promises the sign behind the cheeses and that they are. Luke Farmimeieri and Esko Farm are making the selection of local Estonian cheeses more varied.
Did you know that Estonian quail is the first bred quail breed in the world? Bred for eating of course. So enjoy!
The butcher Harlet Rebane highlights the rabbit from the selection of meats. A nice alternative for the pork that we tend to eat daily. It is especially good if it has been smoked at Uus-Torokse Farm, because they can smoke better than anyone else in Estonia.
How might an albino trout taste?

It tastes good, of course. Very good.
One has to have a drink with good food as well.
An unbelievable number of families have started to bake their own bread recently. Those who do not have this possibility can pick out good hand-made bread here.
Several versions of Estonian honey. Gathered from different places, with different flavours and textures.

If you desire something more special – honey with bee bread, bee glue, pollen, ginger, cinnamon...
Not everything sold at Sadamaturg is edible.

Nature not only fills the stomach, it makes you pretty as well.
At Sadamaturg, big purchases as well as small ones can be made.

TOP 50 OF ESTONIAN RESTAURANTS

This ranking is born out of the votes of the key employees of various Estonian restaurants. Each voter compiles a personal list of 7 restaurants that he or she thinks are the best in Estonia. The voters must have visited these places and the list cannot include the voters’ employers or restaurants related to their personal property.

The restaurants that have been included in someone’s top 7 are invited to cast their votes as well. Each restaurant can appoint up to three of their most important employees as their voters: one member from the management team, one member from the kitchen staff and one member from the service staff.

Taking part in the voting is strictly voluntary, not obligatory. The top 50 of Estonian restaurants is made up of restaurants that win the greatest number of votes.
