Restaurant Kadriorg, situated next to the final stop of the tram heading for Kadriorg, is an intriguing place for those who love Italian cuisine. The new restaurant building, erected specially for the purpose, blends in well with the historic setting of Kadriorg without standing out too much. The restaurant has three floors, the second offers a pleasant opportunity to enjoy fresh pasta for lunch. The third floor suits perfectly for a charming evening.
The chef Andrei Shmakov, working with a quiet diligence, has been able to create a menu that attracts visitors also from greater distances. His dishes are based on classic Italian dishes but he succeeds in serving them in a novel, fresh and interesting manner. Fortunately, the menu is not overly pretentious: the dishes are completely recognizable. Particularly recommended are fish and seafood, prepared really deliciously in this house.
In summer, clients can sit on the terrace by the building. The whole family is welcome here: children’s menu is proper and does not just consist of French fries.
