Atlantis – just like its name

Back in 1963 when restaurant Kaunas was opened in the complex of buildings, it was a really outstanding establishment. Above all, it stood out for its architecture and size. The best part of the current-day Atlantis lies in the traditional dishes that are made and served just like back in those days.

Earlier, it was the size of the restaurant that ensured it a high ranking, but now it is rather an obstacle. The restaurant looks like a continuation to the lobby of the conference centre and it does make for a good first impression. Yet, once seated, one realises that the view to the majestic flow of the river is a clear and singular advantage.

Atlantis is a well-chosen name. The name provides the clue to understanding everything in the restaurant. If you understand it, you like it. If not, you are not at the right place.
