Werner – an old man in a modern coat

Werner is one of the oldest eateries in Tartu. The renovation of anything old and traditional is certainly complicated. It is like forbidding your grandfather to wear his lovely old clothes and taking him to a modern stylist to refresh his wardrobe.

This is how it was done with Werner. An old-fashioned café has become a modern cafe-lounge. Now people no longer sit here for a whole day as they used to in the past. It is no longer in the habit, although it would be fully all right to do so. Because there are plenty of things you want to try and it takes far longer than one single day.

Werner elegantly took its place among the best eateries in Tartu again. And it does not seem to have any intention of leaving this company in the near future!
