Antonius has a worthy ranking

The hotel and restaurant Antonius was opened in Tartu last year. The year was both bad and good for Tartu’s dining establishments. Bad, because the town’s gourmet restaurant Volga, which was also awarded the title of the best restaurant in Tartu last year, closed down in its current form. Good, because Antonius was opened and the town was not left without a gourmet restaurant.

Antonius has a very worthy spot in this year’s standings of the best restaurants. It has justified its place among Estonia’s gourmet restaurants, as well as the spot at the lower end of the standings. A newcomer needs experience.

The restaurant’s food and drink selection is scanty, but that excludes all kinds of accidents. The service is youthful and diligent. Live long, Antonius!
