The last two cold and snowy winters have shown that Tallinn is a winter city. Garlic is always helpful in a cold winter. However, the most stylish way to eat garlic is at the garlic restaurant Balthasar located right at the Raekoja Square in Tallinn.

Balthasar has placed higher and lower in the rankings of restaurants but it has never been left out of it. The restaurant is so well suited with the city of Tallinn that it can probably already be considered one of the symbols of the city.

Almost nothing has changed here since the opening. It looks like even the employees of the restaurant like it so much here that the job switching that is so common in the business does not touch Balthasar at all. Balthasar may well be eternal.
